The vice-chairman of the Tehran Automobile Showrooms Union explained: Domestic cars in the country’s market have only had a five percent price drop in the past 15 days. For example, a car worth 12 billion Tomans is bought and sold in the market, while four years ago this car was worth 400 million Tomans.

Amirhassan Kakaei, an expert in the automobile industry, told Tejarat News: These days, the government is doing speech therapy and promises that foreign cars will enter the country soon. But as can be seen, the number of imported cars is very small and it does not seem that a significant number of cars will come to the country.
He continued: It is expected that currency tensions will rise at the end of this year and people will invest in various markets, including the car market, to maintain the value of their money and turn their liquidity into capital goods.

Unless the authorities use strategies to control the market. In this case, although the price of the car is controlled on the night of Eid, the increase in the price of this product happens more strongly after Eid.
In the meantime, Saeed Motmani, head of the Tehran Automobile Dealers Union, told Tejarat News: If inflation and the price of the dollar are controlled, the market will continue its current trend.
He added: Of course, if the amount of car supply to the market increases and imported cars also reach the country’s market, it is expected that the price of the car in the market will reach a balance to some extent.
