Preparations have been made for consolidating handicraft fields in industrial towns/handicraft bazaars at the entry points of cities lead to the development of tourism.
According to the report of Aria Heritage reporter, Maryam Jalali, referring to the activities of artists of East Azerbaijan province in 80 fields of handicrafts, said: Industrial towns provide the conditions for the presence of all fields of handicrafts in the country’s provinces in one complex.
He continued: A good cooperation has been formed between the Industrial Towns Company and the Handicrafts Deputy. In this regard, a memorandum of cooperation is being concluded.
The Deputy of Handicrafts said: Preparations have been made for consolidating handicrafts fields in industrial towns in 5 provinces, the most complete of which is related to Tabriz city.
He added: The infrastructure of this bazaar has been prepared and will soon be ready to hand over, and it can be a leader and a model for the development and promotion of handicrafts in the provinces.
Jalali also stated: Gathering handicrafts in entry points will cause economic prosperity along with cultural promotion, which will lead to the development of tourism.
He further emphasized: Convergence between economic clusters in industrial towns, the field of entertainment in tourism infrastructure and handicraft products can increase the synergy of the three areas and cause economic flow in industrial towns.
About providing facilities to artists, he said: Any concessions and facilities are being given to artists according to the law.
