According to IRNA, Arash Mirasmaili on Monday in the judo selection committee of Qazvin province, added: “Iranian judo is going through difficult times due to the problems that occurred and the suspension that they inadvertently and cruelly imposed on us, naturally a lot of work on us Hard.
He said: “We have named this year’s Super League a sacrifice for Iran because Iranian judo really sacrificed itself for the country’s sport and system, and we are not joking about this.”
The president of the Judo Federation added: “We became the flag bearer of defending the value that we proudly held this flag and we had ideas that we see these days who claimed that sports are not political and criticized us for politicizing sports now.” They do the same thing with exercise.
Mirasmaili added: “They take hosting from Russia and ban athletes and impose forced resignations on the sports community.”
He said: “So we were right if we defended our position, ideals and ideas and you were the one who politicized the sport and unjustly removed 98,000 Iranian judokas from the international scene because we stood by our ideas.”
Mirasmaili added: “If Russia has invaded today, Israel has been aggressing and oppressing for 70 years, then no difference should be made between them.”
He added: “If you are dealing with Russia today, you should deal with Israel as well, so we are right in this matter and we are not afraid of anything and we have spoken.”
The sports official added: “It is true that judo was somehow slapped from inside and outside, and we endured the slap that came out, and we really fought and hit the suspension technically.”
He said: “The reason for this is that the day we received judo, 60,000 judokas were registered in the judo system, but in the conditions of suspension and the spread of the corona, now 98,000 judokas have been registered in the federation system.”
Mirasmaili added: “Another reason for the growth of judo in the country in terms of suspension is the memorandums that we have signed at the international level and the competitions that we are holding and we are the first federation to participate in youth competitions this year.” We gave cash prizes to the youth champions of the country on the podium.
He said: “Two months ago, we allocated the Grand Prix of Judo in each weight for the first person of 10 million in the adult category, and next week we will hold the Super League and the League of Hope until the Olympics with the presence of 13 teams.”
Mirasmaili added: “We have put into operation 12 judo houses in three years, and the Kabkanian Hall, which is the largest judo academy in Iran, will open its first phase by April 6, and its second phase will open in the next six months.”
The official added: “The memorandums we had made our team attend the joint camp with Tunisia and Iraq, and the youth team will leave for the Turkish camp in the next two weeks and will leave for Tunisia in May.”
He added: “Our team participates in the Asian Games under suspension, so no matter how much they tried to disappoint and suspend Iran, thanks to God and the cooperation of the provincial delegations and their resistance, they did not succeed.”
Mirasmaili added: “Since the beginning of the year, we have paid 800 million tomans to the delegations, which is unique among the federations, and this success has been achieved with cooperation and unity in the federation.”
The President of the Judo Federation, referring to the follow-up to lift the suspension from the International Court of Justice, said: “They had issued a permanent suspension order for Iranian Judo and set a precondition. If Iranian athletes and the Zionist regime compete, the suspension will be lifted.” It was us and that meant permanent suspension.
He said: “On the day of our complaint, no one hoped to lift the suspension, but with the follow-up and thanks to God, the vote was broken and he returned to the disciplinary committee and the suspension became four years.”
Mirasmaili added: “We are not joking with anyone about the reputation of judo and we have stood up and complained again and the vote has been extended twice.”
The official added: “In the email sent to us, it is stated that this vote will be extended due to the sensitivity and special circumstances of the case and the need for further investigation for the judges, while we defended the case well.”
He added: “Apart from defense and consultation, things did not fall to the ground and during this period, 80,000 of our teenagers and youth have been regularly present in the camps and my motto has been that the development of judo should be done by increasing the quantity and quality of facial athletes.” To take.
Referring to the capacities of Qazvin province, Mirasmaili said: “This province has and will have good athletes, and the new head of the provincial board should take care of setting up cities and villages and define a multi-year vision.”
He praised the efforts of Ardeshir Movahed Danesh for many years in this position and congratulated Hamid Farmani on his election to this position and emphasized that judo in Qazvin province should return to its golden age.
