Pressure on Iran will not be useful in negotiations to revive Borjam – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations has stressed that pressure on Iran to expedite its return to the Security Council will not work, Mehr News Agency reported, quoting Russia Today.
According to the report, “Vasily Nebenzia” said in a press conference on Friday in response to the prospect of Vienna talks on the revival of Borjam: “I think, like any other country, pressure on Iran will not be useful, whether in bilateral relations or within a committee or International Atomic Energy Agency.
He added: “We invite them to do this and say that it is necessary to sit around the negotiating table and return to the contract and let us hope that this will happen soon.”
Russia’s envoy to Vienna-based international organizations, meanwhile, noted the need to put aside doubts about whether the nuclear deal would be revived, and said the negotiating parties should focus on success.
Referring to doubts about the revival of the Iran nuclear deal, Mikhail Ulyanov said such doubts should be put aside.
Ulyanov reacted to a European journalist tweeting that the Vienna talks were scheduled to resume before the end of November, but there were doubts as to whether the nuclear deal would be saved.
“There may be skepticism among journalists, analysts, observers, proponents and opponents of the nuclear deal,” he wrote in response to the tweet. But the participants in the Vienna talks must put aside these doubts and adopt the mentality that they are bound to succeed, because very important things are at stake.
“Our relationship with Iran is a permanent one, not based on BRICS or anything else, but a permanent relationship based on their membership in the NPT,” Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told euronews. It is the core that binds all the countries of the world to an agreement.
He continued: “Of course, there are ups and downs like any relationship, and we always do our best to keep it at a good level. And that has been my message all along.
Asked if diplomacy could be revived, Grossi said: “I don’t think diplomacy can fail. We must ensure that all elements are present and that peaceful coexistence is possible.
He added: “Iran can continue its nuclear program with serious restrictions and at the same time, give all the necessary guarantees to the international community that nothing is wrong or wrong, and to do this, you use inspectors.”
