Programs of the third day of Tehran Short Film Festival

Charso Press: According to the news headquarters of the 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival, this event will host short cinema enthusiasts on Saturday, October 29, and on the third day of the screening of short films that have reached different sections, in five halls of the “Metal” cinema campus.

* Program for showing fiction films of Iranian cinema competition

Hall number one and two on the third day of the festival are dedicated to the screening of fiction films that have been selected for the Iranian cinema competition.

In the first screening, from 14:00 to 15:30, the films “Son of the Sun” directed by Rod Pourjabar, “Bei Hawa” directed by Roya Parsa, “Alpha” directed by Masoud Mohammadi Takami and Mahyar Sifouri, “Khwana Ekhit” directed by Morteza Alizadeh and ” “Company” directed by Ilnaz Khairkhah will be screened in theater number one.

In the second screening of hall number one from 16:00 to 17:30 the short films “Takhariha” directed by Mohammad Arianik, “Cat Fish” directed by Amir Hossein Mehmandoost, “Half Dream” directed by Armin Etemadi, “Ant” directed by Farhad Shantiaei and “Stick” directed by Kiaresh Dadgar will be on the screen.

Screening of fiction films in the national competition section in the third session of hall number one, from 18:30 to 20:00 with the screening of “Adelaide” by Farhad Gharibi, “Exit Side” by Ehsan Hemti, “UFO” by Seyed Hamid Hosseini and Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, “Nazer” “by Abolfazl Azizi” and “the story of one night of theft” by Mehdi Hadizadeh will follow.

In the final screening of hall number one on the second day of the festival, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the short films “Kuch” directed by Omid Yousefi, “Rozi Rozgari Cinema” directed by Alireza Somuli, “Qotar” directed by Ali Alizadeh, “Tokan” by Directed by Shahin Haqshaar and “Non-Newtonian Gravity” directed by Alireza Sadeghi will be released.

In hall number two and in the first session from 14:00 to 15:30, the short fiction films “Nabumi” directed by Saeed Kandahari, “The last horse that dreamed of becoming a butterfly” directed by Mahdia Mohammadi, “Suicide in the style of Nietzsche” directed by Kurdish message, “Thermostat” directed by Rouzbeh Akhwan and “After Midnight” directed by Mohammad Bagheri will be screened.

In the second screening of this hall, from 16:00 to 17:30, the short films “Shihe Door” directed by Samad Gurbanzadeh, “Zak” directed by Ali Khosravi, “Everything depends on Mr. Kaf’s opinion” directed by Hassan Hekmatroshan, “Echo” directed by Youssef Shafiq, “Abtani Brothers” directed by Soroush Al-Bakhshi Naini and “Nimkat” directed by Behrouz Shamshiri will be on the screen.

Hall number two in the third session from 18:30 to 20:00 hosts the screening of the short films “Larry” directed by Maitham Moradi, “The World of Manem Foah” directed by Mostafa Agha Mohammadlou, “Karamchale” directed by Seyed Ahsan Taleghani Isfahani, “Sardast” directed by Fatemeh Sadat Javadi’s “Ouroboros” will be directed by Farhang Omrani and “Sauna” will be directed by Zahra Turkmanlou.

In the last screening of fiction films on the second day of the 40th festival, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the short films “Toy Story” by Alireza Astvar, “Sarbaste” by Yaser Khair, “Dead Shepherd” by Soheila Pourmohammadi, “Azan Sobh Beh Ofoq” “Yazd” by Zohra Sabaghian and “Lajman’s Women” by Zivor Hojjati will be screened in hall number two.

* International film screening program

On the third day of the 40th festival, Hall No. 9 of “Melet” Cinema Campus is dedicated to the screening of films that have made it to the international section.

In the first session, from 14:00 to 15:30, the documentary films “Mirat Bad” and the fiction films “Qotar”, “Alpha”, “Ufo”, “Everything depends on the opinion of Mr. Cuff” and “Thermostat” will be shown on the screen.
In the second screening in Hall No. 9 from 16:00 to 17:30, short fiction films “Guardians”, animation “Suzi in the garden”, documentary “South Pole”, fiction “There are no ghosts”, experimental “Noor Mabin” and fiction ” “Darling” will be screened from the works of the international section.

In the third session and from 18:30 to 20:00, there will be short fiction films “From Intention”, documentary “Little Berlin”, fiction “Takthir”, experimental “Kafash Behesht”, fiction “Mom”, animation “On our behalf” and fiction “Confusion” is released.

From 20:30 to 22:00 and in the last screening of the films of the international section on the second day of the 40th festival, the short films of the story “Pyramids”, the story “Forgotten”, the animation “Tash”, the experimental “Jarian”, the animation “Don Xavier” and a story “Please stay on the line” will be displayed.

* Iranian cinema contest animation program

On the third day of the 40th festival, animated works will be shown on the screen in the 4th session of the screenings of Hall No. 10.

In this screening, from 20:30 to 22:00, the animated films “Tabar” by Ismail Jabari, “Next Hole” by Fatemeh Ahmadi, “Piano” by Marjan Keshani and Shahab Shamsi, “War and Color” by Adnan Zandi, “Dejkak” by A famous azad, “Swollen” by Zahra Sohri and “The Gray World” by Seyyed Mohsen Pourmohsani Shakib, will be exhibited.

* Program for the screening of Iranian cinema documentary films

The first and third screenings of films in Hall No. 10 on the third day of the festival are dedicated to the screening of short Iranian documentary films.

In the first session, from 14:00 to 15:30, the short documentaries “Manli” by Jaber Ghorbani, “Mirat Bad” by Nasim Sohaili and “Divarahi Marz” by Fatemeh Marzbani will be screened.
Following the screening of the short documentaries of the Iranian Cinema Competition in the third session of Hall No. 10 from 18:30 to 20:00, three short documentaries “Defak” directed by Behnam Birmvand, “Dream of a Horse” directed by Marjan Khosravi and “Fidus” directed by Iman Mostafaei is displayed.

* Show program of experimental works of Iranian cinema competition

The second screening of Hall No. 10 on the third day of the festival is dedicated to the screening of experimental short films. In this screening, from 16:00 to 17:30, the films “Man” directed by Mehyar Riahi and Farid Farzaneh, “Metformin” directed by Farnam Moradinejad, ” Ghoshzd” directed by Mehdi Keshtkar, “Please don’t touch” directed by Maziar Kazemi and Mohammad Reza Kazemi, “Abor” directed by Hamidreza Nowrozi, “Volume of Density” directed by Reza Daneshpajoh, “Yokai” directed by Sohrab Karimi and Saeed Ramzanian and “Variable” Directed by Mohammad Reza Babadi, it will be released on the screen.

* Program of side screenings of the 40th festival

On the third day of the festival, in the form of 3 screenings, works related to side screenings will be exhibited in Hall No. 8.

Hall No. 8 of “Melet” campus from 14:00 to 15:30 in the form of a side screening of the films of the “Book and Cinema” section, hosting the screening of the films “Qotar” directed by Ali Alizadeh, “Duniya Manem Fua” directed by Mustafa Aghamohammadlou, “Suicide in Style” Niche” will be directed by Payam Kurdestani, “Surahil” will be directed by Ismail Azimi and “Nasukh” will be directed by Asghar Abbasi.
In the second session of this hall, from 16:00 to 17:30, among the films of the “Book and Cinema” section, the short films “Kinopio” by Farzaneh Ghaemizadeh, “The White Elephant” by Mehdi Borjian, “Name, Name of the Family” by Nazanin Chitsaz, “Conditions” ” by Seyyed Javad Hosseini and “Rozi Rozgari Cinema” by Alireza Shamli will be shown on the screen.

The third session of the programs of hall number eight is dedicated to the “Book and Cinema Night” ritual, which starts at 6:30 p.m.

In the fourth session of the screenings of Hall No. 8 and in the form of side screenings of the “On the Wings of Memories” section from 20:30 to 22:00, the films “The White House” directed by Taybe Falkian, “Cinema Seg” directed by Shahid Ahmadlou, “This is a Sony” It is” directed by Saman Salur, “Men don’t cry” directed by Peyman Nahan Gudari and “You are still here” directed by Ketayun Parmer and Mohammad Ruhbakhsh will be screened.

Also, specialized meetings on the third day of the festival from 10:00 to 11:00 with the screening of genre short films based on the Ardabil filmmaking camp and works related to the police-mystery, melodrama and comedy genres, a discussion about genre short films with the expertise of Hassan Hosseini and the presence of Saeed Nejati. Hadi Moghadam Dost, Ata Mojabi from 11:00 to 13:00, the interview of the director with the actor in the presence of Reza Kianian from 15:30 to 16:30 and the interview of the director with the editor in the presence of Maysam Moulaei will be followed. Kamal Tabrizi is in charge of the secretary of the specialized meetings of the director’s dialogue with the actors. In the last meeting of this day of the festival, from 19:00 to 21:00 in Hall 12 of Mellat Cinema Campus, the heads of Oscar-qualified festivals; Manuel Avalance, Mimi Brady, Yorgos Zois will have a press and answer panel. The review sessions of the 4th festival will also be held with the presence of the filmmakers of the fiction section and new talents, with the performance of Maysam Karimi at 18:00 and 20:00 in Hall No. 4 of the Mellat campus.

The 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival under the direction of Mehdi Azarpandar is being held from October 27 to November 2, 1402.
