In the period from July to October 1401, the payment of unreal and fictitious damages in the amount of 2,497,100,00 Rials in the car damage department (financial and body) has been prevented and the report has been referred to judicial authorities.

It is worth mentioning that staging accidents and defrauding insurance companies are special crimes, and in the compulsory insurance law, damage caused to third parties due to accidents caused by vehicles is considered a criminal offense.

According to Article 61, any person who receives money for the damage by performing fraudulent actions such as pretending to be an accident, moving the driver, changing the car or causing intentional damage, will be sentenced to sixth degree imprisonment and a fine equal to twice the amount received.
