Providing pilgrimage currency to 121,000 pilgrims by National Bank of Iran


According to the financial news report, citing the public relations of the National Bank of Iran, the branches of the National Bank of Iran in all parts of the country, especially in the western border provinces, provided desirable and worthy services to the pilgrims of the holy shrines during the mourning days of Arbaeen Hosseini. In terms of the number and value of pilgrimage currency payments to each of the applicants, the bank took the first place in the banking network.

Based on this, from the 6th to the 26th of September, 12 million and 146 thousand dollars of foreign currency have been paid in the form of pilgrimage currency to a total of 121 thousand 604 applicants in the branches of the National Bank of Iran, especially in the five western border provinces of the country.

Also, due to the efforts of the National Bank of Iran and with the arrangements made with the central bank, the sale of special Arbaeen dinars in the “Yes” application with easy and immediate delivery was also implemented in order to answer part of the pilgrims’ needs.

It should be mentioned that the Arbaeen headquarters in the National Bank of Iran was formed in August in order to provide extensive, favorable and effective services to the pilgrims in order to think of good and favorable measures in the way of providing services for the Arbaeen pilgrims.

Based on this, the payment of Arbaeen currency in all branches of the country, especially in the counters and border branches, as well as the Yes application, the establishment of feeding and reception processions at the exit points, the construction of the treatment procession of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) by the bank hospital on the way from Najaf to Karbala. In column 202, to provide outpatient medical services to pilgrims, the establishment of ATMs and sales terminals (pos devices), including the services of the National Bank of Iran, at the borders and exit points of the country for Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims.
