Providing popular needs in a healthy environment / What is the reason for the drop in audience? – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Khoshro, director of Nasim Network, and Mohammad Zaimzadeh, editor of Farhikhtegan newspaper, were the guests of this episode of the 16th “Jam Jam” program, which was centered on Yalda night programs on TV.

The most important topics discussed in this episode of “Jam Jam” program are as follows:

Khoshro, the director of Nasim network, started talking about the difference between Yalda last year and this year.

He stated that the number of viewers increased last year and we had 135 hours of program production, of which Se Sima had the largest audience.

Khoshro pointed out about the variety of guests in the special Yalda night program, the presence of different Iranian ethnic groups, artists and athletes, and elites along with the popular guests.

In response to Zaimzadeh, who was a critic of transformation in the new era, Khushro asked him: What is transformation in your opinion? Why do you want to make a giant out of the word transformation? Isn’t it a revolution that you easily come to the radio and criticize without any restrictions? What you want to tell people about the transformation in the media is your own perception and you have a strange insistence on attacking and opposing the people and you keep the good news hidden, we as transformation managers are trying to be better.

Khoshrou emphasized the needs of the audience with all tastes and pointed to the diverse portfolio of programs and said: The approach of radio and television is to deal with the issues of the society, for example, in the Yalda 1402 evening program, we humorously addressed the issue of Debash tea.

He said: among the most important radio programs in the period of transformation is to pay attention to the popular needs of the audience in a healthy context.

Also, Khoshrou said about the program “Dorhami” and Mehran Madiri: This artist has not been removed and the claim made is not true.

Khoshro, who was critical of the type of information and dissemination of content from the media, including intellectuals, said: Why do you always want to destroy? You yourself emphasize the popularity of the programs, but you publish a critical article about this approach of radio and television.

In response to this question, Zaimzadeh said: Is the problem with TV my newspaper?

In the continuation of the discussion, Khushro stated: An artist approached me and said, “Be careful not to become a reformer!” When I explained to him about the transformation document, he realized that his impressions were the result of being sprayed by the media like you.

In another part, Khoshro reminded: No face in the radio and television can be removed and I have a good relationship with the artists. The fact that they are not old brands at the moment is because they do not fall into repetition and are planning to maintain the uniqueness of their brand.

The director of Nasim network also explained the necessity of creating new faces and brands alongside celebrities.

Mohammad Zaimzadeh, the editor of Farhikhtegan, also said: Nasim network was ranked third and in some periods it was first, but now and in November, it is tenth and you are competing with Quran network.

Referring to some popular television programs such as “New Age” he said: Why is New Age closed? A part of it goes back to the director of our organization, who used this interpretation for the producer that the audience’s enjoyment of this program is like the enjoyment of an animal, and we don’t want that kind of entertainment.

He added: Why doesn’t young Rambad have a plan? Because they want him to make something like “Sidkhandan”.

In another part of this debate, Zaimzadeh stated that with these approaches, we harm the poor first, and said: “Some of our people do not have money for movies and entertainment, and they sit in front of the TV to be entertained.”

The editor-in-chief of Farhikhtegan also said about the drop in television audience: according to your statistics, the amount of television audience has dropped by twenty-three percent from November 1400 to November 1402.
