According to Tejarat News, the sixth meeting of the Supreme Council of Housing was held under the chairmanship of the president, and according to the announcement of Mehrdad Bazarpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, in this meeting, the supply of cement and steel, branches, the granting of banking facilities, the transfer of land to institutions and the inspection of underperforming provinces and other matters were discussed. Assignments were set.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development explained the latest status of the “National Movement Plan” as follows:

Allocation of land to 136,000 applicants for housing construction, also the armed forces have 150,000 units on their agenda for construction, and 560,000 units are being built in the form of mass building.

Regarding rural housing, 370,000 units are on the agenda, of which 170,000 units are about to be delivered. In the area of ​​worn-out fabrics, the renovation of 200,000 units has been planned, of which 70,000 units have been implemented.

Pursuing the issuance of official documents and replacing it with the issuance of normal documents in real estate transactions was put on the agenda. Also, 27 coastal cities, especially in the southern part of the country, with a sea-oriented economy approach, were put on the agenda and it was decided to provide new settlements.

According to the production jump law, 20% of banks’ facilities should be allocated to the housing sector, and according to the president’s emphasis, all banks must comply with this law, except for banks with negative balances, which was decided in the presence of the head of the Planning and Budget Organization, the Minister of Economy and the Governor of the Central Bank. New financing methods should be designed in this regard.

Issuing the license for the provision of infrastructure, including water and electricity, was provided from internal sources and the National Housing Fund, and the Ministry of Energy was obliged to provide the infrastructure of the National Housing Movement.

One of the important issues discussed in this meeting was construction materials, especially cement and steel, which is considered one of the main components of the construction price. One twelfth should be delivered to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and then allocated to mass builders and builders.

29 thousand hectares of land have been secured so far, and these lands were in the form of annexation to the boundaries. In the field of land allocation, some agencies have performed well, and currently 4,900 hectares have been annexed, and it was decided to send a letter to the underperforming agencies and allocate the remaining lands, and the previous resolutions in this regard should also be followed up.

A joint inspection between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Interior is planned to be held in 10 provinces with low performance, and the evaluation of the low performance of the provinces and why they are underemployed will be determined, and incentive and punishment mechanisms will be put in place in this regard.
