Ehsan Khandozi – Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance – said: According to the law on the jump in housing production, banks and non-bank credit institutions are obliged to allocate at least 20% of the payment facilities of the banking system every year at the interest rate approved by the Money and Credit Council to the housing sector.

He added: In case of non-compliance with this legal provision, the country’s tax affairs organization is obliged to collect and deposit a tax equal to 20% of the unfulfilled obligation from banks and credit institutions to the treasury of the country in the form of the annual budget. This amount is deposited into the account of the National Housing Fund.

Khandozi also referred to the President’s order to the Ministry of Economy to submit a report in this regard and said: According to the report prepared on the performance of 25 banks until November 15 of this year based on the appeal decision, 26 thousand 263 billion Tomans The fine for the offending banks has been finalized.

According to him, the amount demanded from the delinquent banks in the payment of housing facilities based on the law of jump in housing production was 61,600 billion tomans, and in the preliminary stage, 59,152 billion tomans were awarded to them, and with the finalization of some other These votes will increase the fine of 26 thousand billion tomans.

So far, for Noor Credit Institution, Day Bank, Saderat Bank, Melli Credit Institution, Iran Zameen Bank, Saman Bank, Entrepreneur Bank, Pasargad Bank, Sina Bank, Shahr Bank, Tourism Bank, Parsian Bank, Agricultural Bank, Sepeh Bank, Capital Bank and Postbank has issued an appeal.

The final decision has not yet been issued about Maskan Bank, Tehsehe Cooperative Bank, National Bank, Middle East Bank, Aindeh Bank, New Economy Bank, Mellat Bank, Refah Bank and Tejarat Bank. The final of all banks will be announced soon.
