Qom has a special position in the tourism sector

According to IRNA, Seyyed Ezatullah Zarghami was quoted by IRNA as saying at a meeting of the provincial administrative council chaired by Ayatollah Seyyed Ibrahim Ra’isi on Thursday night, December 30, 1400: “It should be 20,000 beds, which is now about 11,000 beds.”

“Hotel construction requires the necessary banking facilities, and given that the number of hotels in the province is limited, the necessary measures must be taken in this regard,” he said.

Referring to his visit to the construction project of a five-star hotel in Qom, the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts continued: “Let us be in Qom.”

“There are works in Qom that date back to five to eight thousand years, and it is necessary to allocate the necessary funds for this sector in the province,” said Engineer Zarghami, noting that Qom has 400 registration areas.

He added: “The field of handicrafts is also unique in Qom, and this province has extraordinary capacities in the field of ring making and decorative stones.”

Engineer Zarghami continued: “Supporting activists in the field of handicraft production in various issues such as creating a sales and insurance market in Qom province is very important.”

“One of Qom’s challenges is social issues, and one of the solutions is to create a market for handicraft products,” said the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.

In another part of his speech, he said: “Qom, despite the efforts of executive officials in recent years, has developed a disproportionate amount and the historical context of Qom has not been given the necessary attention.”

Pointing out that Qom is a historical city and its architecture should be based on Islamic and civilized principles, Engineer Zarghami continued: “Because we are the custodians of cultural heritage.”
