Radio World Cup was opened/ 24-hour coverage of football competitions

According to Fars news agency, at the same time as the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the World Cup Radio was opened in the Shahada Radio building. World Cup Radio will cover the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as a seasonal radio station on FM and 95.5 MHz frequency.

This ceremony was attended by Ali Bakshizadeh, the deputy of the voice, Mehdi Azarmekan, the director of Radio Jamjahani, Maryam Kazmipour, the deputy of women’s sports of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Mehdi Keshavarez, the CEO of the Kish Azad Region Organization, and Reza Shajie, the head of the Kish Azad Region, as well as a number of veterans, announcers and reporters. The vice president of Sada stated: “World Cup Radio” will also report live for one month and 24 hours a day, all the matches of this great sports event by experienced radio reporters.

Bakhshizadeh added: “The type of audience and the number of people interested in football is exemplary, and the radio, as always, considers itself responsible in front of its audience, and we hope that very good news will reach the noble people of Iran through this radio.” Also, according to the research center survey of the organization, the performance of sports radio is exemplary among specialized radios, and according to the characteristics of sports radio, the programs of this network will be presented to the audience with a happy and cheerful rhythm during the World Cup in different radio structures.
