Rainfall system to enter the country on Wednesday / Air pollution in industrial cities for the next three days


According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian reported: “Based on the analysis of the latest meteorological forecast maps, stable weather is predicted to increase in the concentration of air pollutants and decrease in air quality in most parts of the country in the next three days.”

He added: From Wednesday afternoon (February 26) with the arrival of the precipitation system in the northwest, west, west coast of the Caspian Sea, Zagros and Central Alborz, gradually increasing clouds and scattered rain, snow and wind are expected.

The head of the National Center for Weather Prediction and Crisis Management continued: “On Thursday (February 26), the extent and intensity of the precipitation system will increase, and in addition to the areas mentioned in parts of the southwestern coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea and North Khorasan, the heights and slopes of the Zagros , Alborz southern heights and slopes Rain, snow and temporary strong winds are forecast.

According to Ziaeian, on Friday (February 29), rain continues on the shores of the Caspian Sea, the heights and slopes of the Alborz, the northeastern regions and with less intensity in the northwest.

He said that temporary strong winds are expected in parts of the west and southwest on Wednesday (February 26) and dust-prone areas are expected. It is forecasted in the east, southeast and southern slopes of Alborz.

The head of the National Center for Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks added: “From today to Thursday (February 26 to 27), cold weather will remain in the northwest of the country and a gradual increase in temperature is expected in other parts of the country.” Thursday (February 26) again with the penetration of cold air mass in the western and southwestern regions and Friday in the northern half of the country, a decrease of 4 to 6 degrees is predicted.
