Realme GT3 was introduced in Iran; Realme is looking for 5% market share

The CEO of Iranian Qaim Moharb, known as Kavash Team in Iran, believes that considering the potential of the Realme phone brand, they hope to increase the share of this brand’s phones in the Iranian market to 5% within the next eight months.

“Reza Ghorbani”, a member of the Board of Directors of the Mobile Importers Association and CEO of this company, spoke about their plans to increase the market share of Realme phones in the country at the unveiling ceremony of the Realme GT3 phone. At the beginning, he pointed out that Realme international brand appeared in the Iran Telecom exhibition despite the issues related to sanctions, and said:

“Our company operates as the official representative of the Middle East. In the Dubai office, we will sell Realme brand products to all Iranian importers and supply the importers’ goods. “Iranian Qaim Hamor” company will also be in charge of the distribution of these phones in Iran with the guarantee of “Explore Team”, although there are two other brands in addition to Explore Team, which are also a subsidiary of the Dubai company and are not a subsidiary of the main company or the parent company. »

Ghorbani talked about the successful experience they had in the Kavas team to introduce the Xiaomi brand in the Iranian market and stated that the Kavas team has always been the first in the Xiaomi market by a large margin in the last four years. They hope to repeat this success once again in the field of Realme phones in Iran.

He believes that there is a good potential for the Realme brand, therefore their goal is to reach 5% of the Iranian market share within eight months: “This 5% market share is a difficult task, because we are going to take a share of the Xiaomi and Samsung market. And if it is realized, we will have the third place in the market.”

Qurbani considered the activation of IMEI in Iran for the Xiaomi and Realme brands as a great achievement and said: “This means that the product with a clear IMEI, which is produced by Xiaomi or Realme, should only be sent to Iran.” In fact, Xiaomi and Realme have accepted the Iranian market as an official market. “Unlike Xiaomi, whose IMEI is regional, Realme will fine us $50 on any Iran-specific phone that is activated in another country, even if they are activated in, for example, Iraq.”

According to him, some Realme models will never come to Iran and some models that will come to Iran in the future will never be unveiled in other countries. Ghorbani attributed this to market control and said: “The company identifies the best-selling model and brand by examining the market of each country and presents its phone as a competitor to that mobile at a special price.” For example, Realme 11 Pro Plus has a very special design and it is a phone with 512 GB memory and 12 GB RAM. The price of this phone in the Iranian market is cheaper than anywhere in the world, and they have no right to sell it elsewhere, because it ruins the market. The price of this phone with a 200 megapixel camera is about 17 million tomans. The cheapest phone with 512 GB memory in Iran is from the Xiaomi brand, which costs about 23 million Tomans. Xiaomi Note 12 Pro Plus with 256 GB memory costs 17 million Tomans, and the Realme phone with a different battery capacity and 512 GB memory costs 17 million Tomans.

He also explained about Oppo phones that this company and Realme cannot be competitors, because the policy of Oppo company is higher profit margin (profit margin) with lower number of sales: “Opo is not a threat to Realme and its direct competitor is Xiaomi and to some extent Samsung are.”

Ghorbani called Realme an innovative company in some areas and said: “Realme is the first company to put a 108 megapixel camera on a mid-range phone or offer these phones with fast charging. The Realme brand is known as the flagship killer in the world.

Realme GT3, which was introduced at this event, is a killer flagship phone that uses a powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chip, a 6.74-inch 144Hz AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel main camera. Besides these things, perhaps the most important feature of Realme GT3 is the 240W super fast charging, which is the fastest charging speed in the Iranian market.
