The search engine giant unveiled its Pixel 7 series in October, so the phones are still covered by Google’s warranty for most issues. However, this problem may not be eligible for free repairs until Google determines it to be something beyond users’ control.

Users who have shared their reports online have not explained a specific reason for the device’s glass failure.
