Receipt of 529 thousand encrypted checks in September

According to the Central Bank, more than 176,000 encrypted checks worth about 799,000 billion rials were received in September in Tehran province. This month, 50.3% of the number of encrypted checks received in the three provinces of Tehran (33.3%), Isfahan (9.5%) and Khorasan Razavi (7.5%) has been received, which has the highest share compared to Other provinces had. Also, 70.1% of the value of the above checks has been collected in the provinces of Tehran (59.3%), Isfahan (6.2%) and Khorasan Razavi (4.6%).

Ordinary and encrypted checks

More than 7 million and 300 thousand checks were received in September 1400 in the whole country, of which about 6 million and 600 thousand were only ordinary and over 500 thousand were encrypted. Accordingly, in the whole country, 92.6% of the total number of checks received were normal and 7.4% were encrypted.

In the month under review, about 3531 thousand billion was received in the whole country, of which about 2185 thousand billion Rials were ordinary checks and more than 1346 thousand billion Rials were encrypted checks. In other words, in the whole country, 61.9% of the total value of checks received was ordinary and 38.1% was encrypted.
