Referring to the implementation of “green management” in Melli Bank of Iran, Shahbazi said: Green management is one of the things that are always emphasized in order to reduce energy losses, preserve the environment, save energy resources for future generations, prevent pollution and the like. According to Article 38, Paragraph G of the Law of the Sixth Five-Year Development Plan approved in 2009, the executive bodies are required to implement green management and obtain favorable scores in its six levels, including the management of energy consumption, water, normal waste, vehicle fuel, buildings and equipment. He continued: National Bank of Iran, as the largest financial organization in the country, has developed the implementation of the green management program beyond Article 38 of the law and has taken steps to fulfill the requirements of green management in order to improve the motivation and morale of the employees as well as the credibility of the bank among the customers.
