Reduction of liquidity growth in March 1401 to 31.1%


According to Iran EconomistThe central bank published a selected report of economic statistics for the month of March 1401, which contains the latest information and economic statistics in the monetary and banking sectors, the balance of payments and the capital market.

According to the latest statistical data of the Central Bank, the volume of liquidity at the end of March 1401 was equal to 6,337 billion Tomans. According to these statistics, the 12-month growth of liquidity reached 31.1% at the end of March 1401, while it was 39% at the end of 1400.

Decrease in liquidity growth in March 1401 to 31.1%/country's foreign debt decreased to 27%

In another part of the central bank’s report, the amount of government debt securities sold in 1401 was declared equal to 163 thousand 500 billion tomans, which shows a decrease of 24.2% compared to the figure of 215 thousand 800 billion tomans in 1400.

In the balance of payments section, the report of the Central Bank shows that the country’s current account reached 14 billion and 433 million dollars in 1401, which shows a growth of 29.5% compared to 1400.

The foreign debt of the country reached 6 billion and 282 million dollars at the end of 1401, which indicates the settlement of 2 billion and 393 million dollars of the country’s foreign debts during 1401 and its decrease of 27.6%.
