Reacting to the change in the iPhone product group, the director general of the Export and Import Regulation Office of the Ministry of Silence said that the change in iPhone product prioritization is temporary. According to him, the registration of the iPhone order was faced with a problem due to a system malfunction, and the registration of the order for this product will be resumed from the next day.
According to Digito and quoted by ISNA, “Saeed Abbaspour”, director general of the Export and Import Regulations Office of the Ministry of Silence, said in response to the issue of banning the import of iPhones into the country:
“Following the updating of some commodity groups and some prioritization for the supply of basic goods, some cross-cutting commodity prioritization or some disruptions occur, which is normal. “Therefore, with the elimination of these disorders and the determination of new priorities, the registration of the iPhone order will resume from the next day.”
He also stressed that the Trade Development Organization has not notified the Central Bank and Customs of any notification or regulations prohibiting the registration of mobile phone import orders with certain brands.
Abbaspour pointed out that in the first two months of this year more than $ 6 billion Mobile orders have been registered, he said, adding that mobile phone orders in terms of dollar value have a high share in the registration of orders this year: “Currency allocation and supply is based on regulations and commodity priorities.”
