Registration of more than 212 thousand visits in the first six days of spring in Niavaran Palace

According to the report of the National Service Coordination Headquarters, 40,285 visitors entered the Niavaran complex during these days, and in total, more than 212,000 visits have been made to all the palaces and museums of Niavaran.
Niavaran exclusive museum palace with 39 thousand 146 visitors in the first place and Ahmedshahi Koushk museum with 36 thousand 177 visitors and Niavaran exclusive car museum with 34 thousand 306 visitors, Jahan Nama museum with 31 thousand 973 visitors and exclusive library museum with 30 thousand and 189 visitors are in the next ranks respectively.
During the days of Nowruz, more than 13 environmental programs are performed every day at different times in the Niavaran complex with the aim of protecting the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the country, entertainment and creating vitality for the visitors.
Performance of the Dehl instrument to welcome Nowruz tourists, marquee show, Naqali, performance of various programs for children and teenagers, performance of ritual groups such as wooden horse, Torbet Jami, Khorasani, Kermanji and Kurdistan tambourine and table of history are among these programs.
Learning to make native and local dolls
Nowruz visitors of Niavaran cultural and historical complex every day, by attending the children’s booth, learned how to make nationally registered native and local dolls, and then take these dolls home as souvenirs and Eid. More than 270 dolls are made daily in this booth and given as gifts to those interested.
Also, the show of the night tent is held twice a day in the western side of the palace of the dedicated museum to create a fun environment for families and familiarize them with Iranian customs, traditions and stories as well as the ancient Nowruz.
Forming a history desk to answer tourists’ historical questions
The history desk has been activated with the aim of guiding those interested in historical issues in the historical and cultural space of Niavaran Palace.
In this cultural activity, experts in the field of history answer the questions of visitors and tourists on historical topics by being behind the history table at certain hours of the day.
Also, during Nowruz, a temporary restoration workshop has been set up for visitors. In this workshop, how to restore a Qajar mirror frame is performed live in the presence of tourists.
The exhibition of handicrafts and souvenirs is one of the other Newroz programs of the Niavaran collection for tourists.
