Relative increase in temperature in most provinces of the country
According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian, head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks, stated about the country’s weather conditions: Zanjan, Kurdistan and in the Alborz highlands located in the provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran Abarnaki, sometimes scattered thunderstorms, lightning and wind are forecast, especially in the afternoon. In other parts of the country, a stable atmosphere prevails with a relative increase in temperature.
He added: Scattered rain will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 10 and 11) in the north of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil and Alborz heights in Mazandaran. In the afternoon from Monday to Wednesday in southern Sistan and Baluchestan, the growth of convective clouds, thunderstorms and temporary strong winds is expected.
According to the head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management, strong winds are forecast for the next three days in the east and southeast of the country, especially in the Zabul region, sometimes accompanied by dust.
He continued: On Thursday (June 12) in the north of East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Alborz heights in Gilan and Mazandaran and Friday (June 13) only in the heights located in the northwest and the central Alborz heights scattered thunderstorms occur.
The head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks added: On Thursdays and Fridays, strong winds and sometimes dust storms will continue in South Khorasan and North Sistan and Baluchestan, and calm and stable weather will prevail in other regions.
Ziaeian added: the central areas of the Persian Gulf during today and the east of the Oman Sea will be rough for the next two days.
The head of the National Center for Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks stated about the weather situation in Tehran during the next two days: Tehran sky tomorrow (June 10) part cloudy and windy with minimum temperature of 22 and maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius during Wednesday (June 11). Partly cloudy to partly cloudy and windy with a minimum temperature of 23 and a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius is forecast.
In the end, Ziaeian said: Today and tomorrow (June 9 and 10), Ahvaz with the temperature of 42 and 43 degrees Celsius and Shahrekord with the temperature of 5 degrees Celsius are the coldest provincial centers of the country.
