Jordan has announced that it has withdrawn “Amira” from representing the country in the Best International category of the 2022 Oscars.

A total of 93 countries submitted their selected films to participate in the Best International (Non-English Language) Film category at the 2022 Academy Awards, which, with the goal of representing Jordan, will bring the number of countries participating in the competition to 92.
The list of 15 films selected for the nominees for the Best International Film Oscar 2022 category will be announced on December 21, 2021.
The finalists for the 2022 Oscars will be announced on February 8, 2022, and the Oscar ceremony will be held on March 27, 2022.
