He stated: The technical structure of setting up the green switchboard in the energy exchange was prepared under the influence of continuous follow-ups as well as the orders issued by the Minister of Energy.
Naqvi continued: Considering the acceptance of five renewable power plants in the energy exchange, we will see the start of renewable electricity transactions in the energy exchange from Monday (June 1st).
Entry of other renewable power plants in the energy exchange
CEO of Iran Energy Exchange stated: Based on the plans made; It is supposed that in the next stages, other renewable power plants will gradually be accepted in the energy exchange and the possibility of exchanging them in this market will be provided.
He pointed out the benefits of setting up a green switchboard in the energy exchange and said: In this context, several points are important, first of all, considering the existence of electricity imbalance in the country and the need for industries to supply electricity, the development of renewable energy is one of the ways to solve this problem. There will be problems.
Naqvi continued: With the start of electricity transactions in the stock market, while discovering the correct price through this market, investors will be provided with specific indicators as to whether investing in the renewable sector is justified or not.
CEO of Iran Energy Exchange pointed out other advantages of setting up a green switchboard and added: Also, with this action, it is possible to finance the establishment of the power plant through the project funds.
He pointed to the help of the green electrical panel in reducing power outages in the summer and stated: the development of renewables will be the basis for reducing dissatisfaction, which will be far more effective in improving the state of the country’s electricity industry and reducing blackouts.

Naqvi further emphasized the acceptance of waste water in the energy exchange and said: We are now carrying out the processes related to the supply of waste water in the energy exchange, but the exact time of supply has not been determined yet.
