Repetition of British Foreign Minister’s claims against Iran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, British Foreign Minister James Cleverly, in an interview with the English-language and Saudi publication “Al-Sharq Al-Awsat” in continuation of his claims about Iran’s nuclear program, claimed that London still adheres to its commitment to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
On the sidelines of the Manama security conference, Cleverly claimed to Sharq Al-Awsat: We will continue to take measures against Iran in order to prevent Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region, as well as to target and sanction the people who are responsible for such behavior.
In response to taking measures to protect the London-based Iran International terrorist network against Tehran’s threats, he claimed: We take the security of British citizens extremely seriously. We also take the same approach to the importance of free, honest and transparent journalism and respond when we believe there is a clear threat on British soil.
He also pointed to the security of the Iran International terrorist network and what message London intends to send to Iran with this action, he claimed: Just as we sent a message by summoning the Iranian ambassador, we want to send the message that threats to journalists are unacceptable. Accepted and we will respond to it.
In response to the fact that he had claimed at the Manama summit that Russia and Iran threaten the security of the Arab region, Cleverly claimed: We have considered targeted sanctions in response to the specific actions of some individuals. Therefore, when we came to the conclusion that Iranian drones were sold to Russia and used in the Ukraine war, we imposed specific sanctions against the companies and individuals responsible for sending these drones.
Earlier, without providing evidence and referring to the allegations about the supply of Iran-made drones to Russia for use against Ukrainian infrastructure in the current war between Moscow and Kiev, Cleverly claimed: the weapons that Iran provides to other countries, the security of the Middle East and beyond has jeopardized
Meanwhile, both Tehran and Moscow have repeatedly denied sending drones from Iran to Russia for use in Ukraine.
He also continued London’s hostile and far from reality claims about Iran’s riots and claimed: We have imposed specific sanctions against Iran’s moral security police. At the right time, we made these individuals and institutions the target of preventive sanctions.
In another part of this conversation, the British Foreign Minister stated the baseless accusation of Iran’s attempt to destabilize the region and claimed: “When we understand that Iran is trying to destabilize neighboring countries, we take measures.” We will continue to take measures to prevent Iran’s destabilizing actions in the region and to impose sanctions on individuals to punish them for their actions.
At the same time, Cleverly made these claims that the Islamic Republic of Iran always emphasizes its constant policy to establish the best relations with its neighbors and countries in the region and the need to withdraw foreign forces from the region.
In response to the question of whether the nuclear negotiations with Iran have ended, the British Foreign Minister claimed: We presented a very credible agreement to the Iranians in March and they have not yet responded. We are still committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, but now it is up to Iran to give a meaningful response to the negotiations that we have presented. The ball is now in Iran’s court and it has been like this for some time and it is time for them to respond.
