Restoration of Isfahan historical monuments needs 5 thousand billion tomans of credit

According to the report of Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Isfahan Province, Engineer Ezatullah Zarghami said today, Thursday, December 9, 1400,: “They have been able to protect these works.”
The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts continued: “Studies show that there are currently more than 1,900 registered historical monuments in Isfahan province, and more than 5,000 billion tomans are needed to protect these monuments. “But at present, financial resources for the protection of works have been set at about 30 billion tomans.”
“Given the current budget, it will take a long time to protect these monuments,” he said, referring to studies on the restoration of monuments. “However, given the limited government budget, we seek the support of the people, because we believe that these works are our national identity as Iranians and that the main owners of these works are the people.”
Engineer Zarghami stated: “Isfahan is truly a valuable heritage of the Shiite world, so to know Islamic Iran, one must see Isfahan.”
In the first stage of Zarghami’s visit to the historical monuments of Isfahan, he visited the historical monuments of the Imam Square World Complex (Naghsh Jahan), including the Imam Historical Mosque, the Royal Road of Aali Qapo Palace, and the Qaisaria Historical Bazaar Complex.
