Revealing more than two decades of secret relations between the UAE and the Zionist regime

The US-Zionist website Axius reported on Wednesday local time that the Israeli and UAE regimes have had behind-the-scenes defense and intelligence ties for more than two decades, but these ties have only recently become more public since the 2020 compromise agreement was signed.

According to two Zionist officials, the regime’s war officials traveled to the UAE last week to discuss possible defense and intelligence assistance following the recent response by the Houthis (Ansarullah) to the invasion of the Persian Gulf country.

According to the report, the unprecedented missile and drone strikes of Yemeni Ansarullah in response to the UAE aggression have worried Abu Dhabi and forced it to consider ways to strengthen its defense capabilities in the future.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced after Ansar al-Islam’s first reaction to the UAE aggression that the regime was ready to provide intelligence and defense assistance to the UAE.

Zionist officials said the UAE was seeking help in missile defense and counterterrorism, and that one of the key issues being addressed was early identification and warning.

The UAE’s ambassador to the United States, Youssef al-Atiba, and its ambassador to the United Nations, Lana Nasiba, wrote in an article in the Wall Street Journal urging the US government to boycott Ansarullah so that they would be forced to accept a ceasefire.

The Israeli Ministry of War and its national security agencies are expected to consider the Emirati demands in the coming days.

Zionist officials say they want to help the UAE in a way that does not expose sensitive technology that Tel Aviv does not want to share.

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has claimed that Israel should officially recognize the Houthis (Ansar Allah) as a terrorist organization.

In an interview with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates yesterday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced Washington’s decision to send fifth-generation fighters to the region to help the UAE under the pretext of countering threats.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said that the US Secretary of Defense spoke by telephone with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday, local time, and that various US Department of Defense measures to support the UAE, including intelligence and defense cooperation. Checked the air and landing of the USS Cole destroyer in Abu Dhabi.

“The Secretary of Defense also informed the Crown Prince of the UAE of his decision to send fifth-generation fighters to help the UAE deal with the current threats,” Kirby said.

A spokesman for the US Department of Defense continued: “Officials from the two countries also discussed the recent attacks by the Houthis (Ansarullah Yemen) in response to the UAE attacks, as well as the threat of US and UAE forces stationed at Al-Zafra air base.”

According to Yemeni media, the UAE has recently intensified its attacks on Yemen, sending troops under its command called “Al-Amalqa” (giant) battalions, consisting of Salafi, Takfiri and ISIS groups, to attack Shabwa province.

The UAE has also intensified its aggression by transferring weapons and military equipment through Yemeni territorial waters to its affiliated militias.

A bomb blast near the UAE oil tanker and another explosion at Abu Dhabi International Airport have killed at least three people, following rocket and drone strikes by the Yemeni army and popular committees in response to the UAE invasion. Killed and 6 others were injured.

Saudi Arabia, along with the UAE and Bahrain, and with the help of the United States and the Zionist regime, formed a coalition on April 26, 2015 to invade Yemen and tried to bring the resigned and fugitive President Abd al-Mansour Hadi back to power, but in the near future. For the past seven years, Yemen has not achieved any of its aggressive goals, despite all-out attacks and land, sea and air sieges.

The coalition has gradually collapsed due to widespread defeats by the Yemeni People’s Forces, and now only Saudi Arabia and the UAE are fighting the Yemeni people with the United States.
