Reza Roygari’s life was documented
Theater News Base: Abolfazl Mohammad Baqer, the producer of the portrait documentary “Reza Roigari”, announced the end of the shooting of this documentary.
He said: In this documentary, an attempt was made to portray the life of Reza Roigari in three parts; The three parts in which he is better known among the people in two parts, namely acting and music, but one part that less people know about him is the painting part of Reza Roigari.
The producer also stated: Reza Roigari, with his very beautiful and influential paintings, is less known among the people. In this documentary, we tried to portray his paintings with the explanations they give for each of his works.
He continued: Mr. Roigari has about five albums in which there are beautiful songs, but most people know him by the song “Iran Iran”.
In the end, Mohammad Baqer referred to the physical condition and illness of this veteran artist and said: Mr. Roigari has been hospitalized at home for several years due to a stroke and is not doing well and his wife (Tara Karimi) is taking care of him. It is necessary here to ask the producers and directors of the field of cinema to take advantage of and help such veteran artists who, for reasons such as illness, can no longer play, with appropriate roles in their scripts.
