Reza Safaei-Pour, a cinema veteran, was hospitalized


According to Fars News Agency, Reza Safaeipour (Toofan), a veteran cinema actor, was hospitalized in Yas Hospital, Tehran, yesterday, May 15, 1401. The veteran actor has been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for some time, and this has made him less active in cinema. He started his career with wrestling and after a few championships in sports, he entered the cinema and became known as Toofan.

Safaeipour returned to acting with the film “Mirza Kuchak Khan” in 1983 and gradually became famous by appearing in the films “Gray Season”, “Hunting at Night”, “Plaque” and “The Last Impact”. The spectacular series “Simorgh” entered the TV screen.
