According to the head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks, on Sunday (June 1), the atmosphere in most parts of the country will be stable and the sky will be clear. On Monday and Tuesday (June 2 and 3) in some parts of the northwest, scattered rain and temporary strong winds are forecast with the possibility of dust, and in other parts of the country the sky will be clear and sunny.
He continued: “On Saturdays and Sundays in the eastern half of the country, especially in the Zabul region, due to strong winds, there is a possibility of dust storms and reduced air quality and reduced horizontal visibility.”
According to him, today, Friday, the conditions are ready for the formation of dust masses on Iraq and its transfer over the country, and therefore in some parts of the provinces located in the northwest, west, southwest and gradually the southern, central and southern provinces. Central Alborz will be the occurrence of dust, reduced visibility and reduced air quality. The situation is expected to decrease on Saturday in the northwest, but will remain stable in other areas, as well as in the northeast, east and southeast.
Ziaeian added: “On Monday, with the formation of a dust mass on Iraq, the dust phenomenon will be transferred to the western strip of the country again and will affect the provinces located in the western half of the country.” On Saturday, the temperature will drop by 6 to 8 degrees in the northern part of the country. From late today, Friday, the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf will be rough and turbulent on Saturday.
