“Robert Mali” bet on US return to Burjam – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, Robert Mali, the US Special Representative for Iran, said in an interview with Reuters that the Vienna talks are unlikely to take place without the release of American citizens detained in Iran.
Although he sought to reiterate Washington’s long-standing position of claiming separation between the two, he went one step further, saying their release was a precondition for a nuclear deal.
Explaining the claim, he added: “These two categories are separate, but it is very difficult for us to imagine a return to the agreement as long as four Americans have been taken hostage by Iran.”
Mali continued his claim: “Therefore, although in the nuclear case, we are pursuing indirect negotiations with Iran, we are still indirectly pursuing talks with them to ensure the release of our hostages.”
Since last week, an American citizen has been on a hunger strike in front of the Vienna Hotel and, with the support of others, has explicitly called for a halt to talks and a refusal to lift sanctions against the Iranian people. Is.
Interestingly, Washington initially tried to make the issue an individual decision, but now, by investing in it, is seeking to divert the negotiation process and slow down the outcome process.
