Robert Mali’s secret meeting with congressional lawmakers about Iran negotiations – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, Politico news site reported on the secret meeting of Robert Mali, the special representative of the US for Iran affairs, with the lawmakers of the foreign affairs committee of the US Senate regarding the status of the sanctions lifting negotiations.

According to this report, Robert Mali’s meeting with Congress legislators is scheduled to be held on September 14 (16 September).

At the same time, 50 representatives of the American Congress, including 34 representatives of the Democratic Party and 16 representatives of the Republican Party, in a joint letter to the President of the United States, Joe Biden, expressed their concern about the provisions of the nuclear agreement for possible reciprocity with Iran.

In this letter, the US government is asked to provide the full text of any proposed proposal for the return of the US to the nuclear deal with the Congress.

At the same time, a group of 6 lawmakers from the US House of Representatives sent a letter to Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, asking him not to close the case of false safeguard claims against Iran.

“Claudia Tenney” (Claudia Tenney), a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, sent a letter to Grossi and raised such a request and sent the said text to be signed by 5 other representatives.

In this letter, it is claimed: Joe Biden, with his haste and irresponsibility to return to the failed nuclear agreement with Iran, wants to jeopardize our national security and the credibility of the entire architecture of nuclear non-proliferation!

It should be noted that the International Atomic Energy Agency has claimed without providing any documents and evidence that it has found “undeclared nuclear materials” in several places in Iran, a false claim that has always been denied by the Islamic Republic.
