Rural drinking water supply projects in the 13th government have accelerated

Mojtaba Yousefi, in an interview with Fars News Agency economic reporter, while expressing the acceleration of water supply projects in Khuzestan province, said: The pursuit of the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in the 11th Assembly along with the jihadist activities of the people’s government is a good thing to see drinking water supply to villages.
A member of the Presidium of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, while expressing the achievements of the water supply project to the villages of Khuzestan province, also said:
* 615 villages without water in Khuzestan were irrigated
He stated: out of 1101 villages supplied with water, 615 villages in the past lacked stable and sanitary drinking water.
Yousefi, while thanking the President for following up on the water problems of Khuzestan, emphasized: “From the beginning, the people’s government had a special view on water supply projects in Khuzestan province, and this special view was crystallized in the activities of the Ministry of Energy.”
A member of the Civil Commission of the Majles, in another statement on the achievements of completing the water supply of 1101 villages in Khuzestan province, said: In the past 8 months, 486 villages with 48,000 households had water between zero and 6 hours, but now they have been fully supplied with water.
* Special attention to rural water supply in the agenda of the Ministry of Energy
Yousefi, referring to the change in the policy of the Ministry of Energy in the people’s government, said: “Paying special attention to rural water supply along with pursuing other important water projects is one of the signs of changing the policy of the government and these projects are progressing rapidly.”
The representative of the people of Ahvaz, Bavi and Hamidiyeh, while appreciating the 6-month performance of Mr. Ra’isi’s government, said: “Despite the lack of serious rainfall, the water problems of Khuzestan have been significantly managed and the Islamic Consultative Assembly will continue to follow up until the projects are completed.”
