Russia has accused the United States of harassing Russians

The Russian embassy in the United States said in a statement on Friday that the US government and security agencies should be fair to Russians living in the country, IRNA reported, quoting RIA Novosti.

The statement referred to the unprecedented pressure on the Russian-American community by the US government, including the cessation of the activities of the “Organization of Russian Compatriots in the United States” after the prosecution of F. بی. “We are disgusted by the hostile actions of the United States against our Russian compatriots, which are being carried out under the pretext of suspicion of operating outside the country as a foreign agent,” he said.

The Russian embassy in Washington says: F. بی. I brutally interrogated representatives of the Russian Compatriots in the United States and confiscated their personal belongings.

A statement from the diplomatic mission said the United States was violating the right of Russians to communicate with their homeland and to take an active part in preserving their cultural and linguistic heritage.

“The Russian embassy has repeatedly stated its position on Russians living in the United States and their rights to US officials, but the US side ignores the Russian side’s demand for the fundamental rights of Russians,” the statement said.

In recent years, Russian officials have repeatedly accused the United States of illegally abducting Russian nationals from other countries, as well as the long-term detention and ill-treatment of Russian citizens imprisoned in the United States, and demanded the release of all abductees.
