In this regard, he said: Iran was and still is one of the conscientious members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The conclusion of the JCPOA in 2015 helped to finally and irrevocably resolve all questions from the International Atomic Energy Agency about Iran’s nuclear program.

Yermakov also emphasized: After that (the JCPOA), Iran is one of the most confirmed members of the NPT, and so far no deviation from its commitments has been identified, and there are no documents to show that Tehran intends to review and start its participation in the NPT. to the development of nuclear weapons.

According to Sputnik, however, it must be emphasized that Iran has repeated many times that it has no intention to produce nuclear weapons; In fact, the supreme leader of Iran issued a fatwa in 2003, according to which the production or use of any nuclear weapons and mass killing is forbidden.

Although the International Atomic Energy Agency has shown in numerous reports that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful, the American and Israeli authorities claim that Iran’s nuclear program is approaching the production of nuclear weapons without providing evidence.
