Russia reacts to Iran’s delay in starting Vienna talks – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s representative to international organizations in Vienna, reacted on Sunday by sending a Twitter message accusing Iran of delaying the start of the Vienna nuclear talks.

Russia’s representative to international organizations in Vienna wrote: “For the sake of accuracy, we should not forget that the new Iranian government was formed at the end of August; In the sense that it takes less than 2 months to form.

Mikhail Ulyanov added: “The United States took two months to prepare for the Vienna talks (to revive the UN Security Council). But it is time for Lawrence to resume this process (the Vienna talks).

The Russian diplomat responded to a Twitter message from Lawrence Norman, a reporter for the American Wall Street Journal, accusing the Iranian government of delaying the start of the nuclear talks in Vienna.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on Friday (October 7) reiterated Iran’s intention to return to the Vienna talks and said: “We are approaching the final conclusion in the new government.”

It is worth mentioning that so far 6 rounds of Vienna talks have been held with the aim of facilitating the return of the United States to the UN Security Council; But despite acknowledgments of progress by the West, no concrete results have been achieved so far.
