He further added: As soon as the (road map) is completed, its results will be presented to the heads of the countries to discuss the issue in a meeting attended by the heads of Turkey, Syria and other guarantor countries.

It should be noted that the 20th round of the meeting of the delegations of Turkey, Iran and Russia, which are the guarantor countries of the Astana talks on Syria, started yesterday in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and ended today.

In the continuation of this statement, the opposition to all efforts to create and impose realities on the ground in Syria, including illegal separatist plans, and the necessity of continuing cooperation to fight terrorism were emphasized.

In their statement, the parties present at the Astana meeting condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime on Syrian lands, especially the attacks on civilian centers, and considered it a violation of international laws and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and a cause of instability in the region, and emphasized that the Zionist regime should Adhere to the international resolutions that declared the occupation of the Syrian Golan region illegal.

This statement also emphasized the opposition to all unilateral sanctions against Syria, which violate international laws and human rights and the UN Charter.

At the end of their statement, the participants of the Astana meeting, while welcoming and praising the cooperation of the Syrian government in sending humanitarian aid to the areas affected by the earthquake, asked the international community and the United Nations and its affiliated human rights agencies to increase their aid to all areas of Syria. and try to restore and rebuild the basic infrastructure of this country, including water, electricity, healthcare and education.

It should be mentioned that in this meeting, which was held on June 20 and 21 in Astana, in addition to “Gir Pedersen”, the UN Secretary General’s special representative for Syrian affairs, representatives from Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq participated as observers.
