Following the filtering of Instagram, the Russian government now intends to offer RusGram to Russian users as a native alternative to this popular social network.
Meta and Instagram officials announced some time ago that the war between Russia and Ukraine had begun and that they would not prevent the publication of violent content against the Russian army and Putin, and this was met with a serious reaction from the Russian government. In fact, after such comments, the Russian government filtered Instagram in this country.
Although the Meta and Instagram officials regretted what they said, the Russian government will not remove the Instagram filter and in fact even intends to make Rossgram available to its users as an alternative to Instagram. In this regard, Rossgram is to be released as a native replacement for Instagram in the coming weeks in both Android and iOS versions.
Ross Gram is on the way
The project to build a native alternative to Instagram in Russia is led by Alexander Zubov and Kryl Filimonov. According to them, Rosgram is quite similar to Instagram and can respond well to the needs of Russian users. Also, the icon and font of the Rossgram app are quite similar to Instagram.
According to information published by Rosgram, this Russian application will be released on April 28, 1401 as an alternative to Instagram for both Android and iOS operating systems. It should be noted that Rusgram will also offer special capabilities to Russian users; For example, the ability of crowdfunding or mass investment by users and the ability to pay for access to content are among the most important features of this native Russian application.
Alexander Zubov and Kryl Filimonov, the leaders of the Rossgram project, prepared for Instagram filtering and are now working on the possibility of transferring Instagram user content to Rossgram.
