Russian media: Bashar Assad will go to Russia soon

According to the report of Fars News Agency, the Russian newspaper “Vedomosti” reported that Syrian President Basha Arsed will visit Russia in the middle of this month.

news station “Russia Elium“, today (Monday), wrote that this Russian newspaper published this report citing a source in the Russian presidency, whose name was not mentioned.

Vedomosti also quoted experts and added that during this trip, Assad and Putin will discuss bilateral relations, the Ukraine issue, as well as the issue of normalizing relations between Damascus and Ankara.

The experts of this Russian newspaper also added that one of the goals of this trip is likely to be Russia’s support to deal with the energy crisis and the consequences of the devastating earthquake in Syria.
