Russia’s Kamaz carmaker was also sanctioned

The US Treasury Department announced last night that it had imposed sanctions on Russia’s Kamaz car company and its affiliates.

The ministry said in a statement that Kamaz CEO Sergei Kogogin was also on the sanctions list.

According to the released document, Bigishwu Airport, Kamaz Leasing Company, Totaef Motor, and other Kamaz-related companies have been sanctioned by the US government.

The White House has also imposed sanctions on Tupolev Aircraft, Irkut Aircraft and the Chekalov Flight Testing Center.
