Ryzen 9 6900HS and RX 6800S Benchmark – Better Than 12900H and RTX 3080

Almost two weeks after the first independent look at the notebook containing the Ryzen 7 6800H, the Ryzen 9 6900HS chip benchmark and Radeon RX 6800S graphics were revealed.

According to the data collected by BenchLeaks We will probably see the release of the Rembrandt laptop series very soon as more and more revelations are made. Officially, the Ryzen 6000 series laptops will be available in February, but AMD has not announced an exact time.

Over the past 48 hours, Freddy has tested the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop with a Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and Radeon RX 6800S graphics, but none of them have been released yet.

In the PugetBench Photoshop test, the 6900HS + 6800S outperformed the Core i9 12900H and GeForce RTX 3080, which is fantastic given the limited thermal power of the Red team chips.

This is not the first time that Asus and AMD have teamed up to build a new 14-inch laptop. The new model with 6000 series processors is actually the third version with updated hardware and build quality. According to the Geekbench database, the Rembrandt-based model has 5 and 20% better performance than the Ryzen 9 5900HS, respectively.

Ryzen 6000H processors

The Ryzen 9 6900HS is the latest model of the 8-core 16-line line-up Ryzen 9 Zen 3 Plus. This 35-watt processor has a base frequency of 3.3 GHz and a boost of 4.9 GHz. This also seems to be true because the Geekbench shows a maximum clock speed of 4.86 GHz.

According to the leaked information, the Ryzen 9 6900HS should compete with the Core i7 1280P, which is a limited thermal power model from the blue team, which, of course, has more cores. Overall, the 6900HS looks like a great processor that can shine on laptops for around $ 1,500.
