Saber Kazemi showed courage / The championship in Asia was heartwarming – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr reporter, the final match of the 21st Asian Volleyball Championship was held yesterday between the teams of Iran and Japan, during which our national team was able to defeat the host of this tournament 3-0.

Nasser Shahnazi in an interview with Mehr reporter after winning the national volleyball team championship in the Asian Championship said: I congratulate the sports community, the dear nation of Iran, the national team players and the technical staff, for the championship. After the Olympics and the League of Nations, the situation became a bit unfavorable and the championship in Asia became an ointment to stay away from the past.

The volleyball expert emphasized: the previous results had slightly changed people’s view of volleyball. I hope that the situation will improve with this championship and that people will love volleyball as before. The championship in Asia was heartwarming because we had been losing to Japan for a long time. The victory against Japan was very good for the Iranian national volleyball team, which has undergone changes.

He added: “I hope this victory will be a precondition for the future to participate in competitions with better conditions.”

The coach of Saipa volleyball team, referring to Saber Kazemi’s brilliance, said: Saber Kazemi was a superstar in this tournament and the burden of attacks was on him. Despite the injury, he showed courage and played volleyball with all his might, helping the national team in critical situations.

He added: Saber Kazemi played very well in critical points. While the other players tried their best, the role of Saber Kazemi in gaining critical points was very significant.

In the end, Shahnazi noted: I wish success for the Iranian national volleyball team. Young players need to gain experience playing against the big teams in the world to become more professional, and this path will not be achieved unless we give them more opportunities. The Asian Championships will help them as well, but it is better to put them in front of the big teams in the world so that they become more professional.
