Al-Sadr said: All I wish is that the tragedy of losing the first golden opportunity of 2016 will not be repeated. Yes, this is another opportunity to eliminate the darkness, corruption, monopoly of power, dependence on foreign countries and sectarianism, which has been on the chest of Iraq since its occupation until today.

He considered the occupation of the Iraqi parliament “a great opportunity to fundamentally change the political system, constitution and elections” and said, “Elections that are changed for the benefit of the hidden government are free and healthy.
