Saeedi: Increasing the broadcasting credits is against social justice

According to the report of Economy Online, quoted by Shafqna, the representative of the people of Chabahar in the Islamic Council, criticizing the increase in the budget of radio and television in the seventh development plan, said: the type of processing of issues by radio and television is such that many of the audience loses, and in such a situation, radio and television should be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative conditions of its programs, not to increase the credit.
Regarding the increase in the broadcasting budget, Moinuddin Saeedi said: During the review of the 7th Development Plan, the representatives of the Islamic Council obliged the Program and Budget Organization to fulfill the tasks and indicators set for broadcasting in the first year. The implementation of the seventh program will increase the broadcasting credits by 43% and this increase will be the basis of the annual increase from 1403; But in my opinion, considering the challenges and problems we have in many areas such as education, health, rural roads, sports, etc., this is against social justice. Also, this ruling is one of the rulings that have the nature of budget writing and should have been introduced in the budget law.
He added: “Seda and Sima has a lot of income from advertising and the like, and I think that with this practice that prevails in Seda and Sima, it will lose its media authority, and it will not be able to solve a problem; Therefore, we have many challenges in different fields in terms of financial resource limitations, which, in my opinion, is against social justice to approve such an increase for broadcasting credits.
In the end, Moinuddin Saeedi noted: According to the broadcaster’s own interpretation, we are witnessing a drop in the audience and media authority, and the quality and type of processing of issues by the broadcaster is such that it is losing many of its audiences. And in such a situation, radio and television should be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative conditions of its programs, rather than increasing its credibility.
