Saipa; Car production factory or losses?

According to Tejarat News, Saipa’s performance report in 1401 shows that the cost of the company’s sold goods was higher than the company’s total sales revenue. So that Saipa was able to generate a total of 60 thousand 127 billion tomans last year.

On the other hand, the cost of goods sold by the company has increased by 45% in this period and has reached 69 thousand 65 billion tomans. The main increase in the production cost of Saipa products is due to the 2.5 times increase in the price of the company’s raw materials compared to 1400.

This caused the company’s net loss to grow by about 158% and record eight thousand and 938 billion tomans. It should be seen how long Saipa can keep its loss-making factory afloat? Because if the shadow of mandatory pricing still remains over car deals, SAIPA’s upward rally continues.

Saipa loss increase

Following the reduction of the company’s gross profit, the company’s general and administrative expenses have also increased, and this has increased the company’s operating loss by 146% compared to 1400. In this way, from the operation of 1401, Khasapa only suffered a heavy loss of 11,285 billion tomans.

It should be said that in total, Saipa increased its loss in 1401 and increased its net loss from 9,334 billion tomans to 14,271 billion tomans and delivered a blacker record to its shareholders than before.

Movement of Saipa train on the track

As mentioned earlier, the price of raw materials needed by Saipa has increased by 2.5 times compared to 1400. But a look at Khasapa’s annual production and sales report shows that the company’s products in 1401 have grown by 39% on average compared to 1400.

On the other hand, the company’s production and sales have grown by 20% and 25%, respectively, compared to the year 1400. But the increase in Saipa’s sales volume could not cope with inflation and mandated pricing. Because despite the increase in the company’s sales revenue, which was caused by the increase in the sales volume and the increase in the price of the company’s products, the jump in the cost price of Saipa’s sold goods due to inflation prevented the company from making a profit.
