Salam Logari, a local Afghan singer, has died

According to Fars News Agency’s Afghanistan website, Ustad Salam Logari, a famous local Afghan singer who had about four decades of singing and performing original Logari local songs, died of an illness.

According to the relatives of this local singer, Salam Logari has been bedridden in recent years.

He died on Saturday, February 23, in Mohammad Agha city of Logar province and was buried there.

Professor Salam Logari was about 86 years old and in 2003 he was awarded the title of professor by the Ministry of Information and Culture.

This local singer was famous for performing original Logari songs in Afghanistan and abroad, and most people are familiar with his name and voice.
