According to Fars news agency, the poster unveiling ceremony and press conference of the 12th nationwide and the first international Sahibdelan Theater was held on Saturday, July 11, at the place of Rudaki Hall, with the presence of Mahmoud Salari, the artistic deputy of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Mahmoud Farhang, the secretary of the event. .
Mahmoud Salari, as the first speaker of this ceremony, spoke about the need to pay more attention to the Sahibdelan Theater event and said: if we can make the audience taste this importance through art, especially live art and theater, we have done a great job and we have been able to play our role in educating and improving the culture of society. to perform well
The deputy of artistic affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance noted: Sahibdelan Festival tries to refresh the thirsty palates of this ocean of spirituality through the art of theater.
In the end, Salari emphasized: The artistic vice-chancellor’s effort is to hold this festival in the most dignified way possible. Our effort is to turn the Sahibdelan Theater Festival from a cultural trend into an artistic event; Because trends come and go, but events always remain history.
Then Farhad Qahemian, a famous actor of our country, gave a speech and said: This event has matured more in each cycle and it seems that after 12 cycles, it has reached this level of maturity to be held internationally.
He added: I hope this event will be a basis for the activities of more artists of the provinces who will spread their religious beliefs. Because this festival tries to provide the necessary infrastructure in this field.
Referring to the internationalization of the Sahibdelan event, he expressed hope that by holding such events, we would show that Islamic Iran pays attention to religious art and presents religious thoughts in international forums.
After the words of Farhad Qahemian, the message of Mahmoud Farhang, the secretary of this festival, was broadcast in a video.
In this message, Farhang mentioned the approach of the Sahibdelan Theater Festival. He added: Many festivals have been organized in Iran focusing on performing arts in the country, and groups compete with each other, but the approach of the Sahibdelan Theater is to support theater groups to produce works in the religious genre.
He added: We tried to add a genre to the production genres, and all our efforts are focused on the activation of theater groups in the cities.
At the end of the ceremony, from the poster of the 12th event of Sahibdelan Theater with the presence of people such as: Mehdi Kamos, Director of the Publications and Research Office of the General Department of Performing Arts, Korosh Zarei, Director of the Performing Arts Center of the Art Department and Secretary of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival, Tajbakhsh Fanaiyan, Yadullah Fahadari, Ahmed Julayi, Hadi Marzban, Dawood Fathalibeigi, Mohammad Dasht Goli, Hassan Rondeh and Farhad Qahemian were unveiled.

In response to a question about the budget figure for this show, Farhang pointed to the economic difficulties of the theater and said: Mr. Shahabadi’s period was our best period because he had a supportive view of this festival, but he did not announce the budget figure and said: It is good. I am satisfied, but it is not enough.
This theater director expressed his hope to benefit from more government contributions for theater production in this event.
Referring to the internationalization of the festival, he added: “Our budget is not bad, but since this event has become international this year, we will face problems due to the expensive dollar.”
The secretary of the 12th Sahibdelan Festival said about the countries present in this festival: We are looking at 25 Muslim countries, but it is not yet clear how many countries will participate.
The secretary of the 12th edition of Sahibdelan theater about the publication of a book about religious theater written by Dr. Farhad Nazerzadeh Kermani, explained the process of writing this book, which includes 5 volumes of 5,000 pages, and announced its unveiling at the end of this edition of the festival.
He emphasized: In holding this event, we think about the provinces and will contribute 70 million tomans to produce a performance in Tehran.
