Sales of the iPhone 13 in the fourth quarter of 2021 will exceed 80 million units

Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives predicts that Apple could sell more than 80 million iPhone 13s in the quarter ending 2021.

Apple has been successful in selling the iPhone 13 series and now, according to reports, the company intends to make good sales by the end of this year.

Ives writes in his note:

Despite the chip shortages and complex logistics problems that Apple (and any other tech or automotive vendor) is dealing with, we are seeing tremendous demand for the iPhone 13 in the United States and China. This is a positive sign for Apple to be able to exceed 80 million iPhone sales this quarter with its powerful Pro version devices.

The report also notes that Apple could sell 40 million iPhones between Black Friday and Christmas. In addition, the Cupertinos are expected to sell more than 100 million Apple AirPads this quarter.

Jeep Morgan Investment Corporation had made a similar prediction based on the release date of the iPhone 13 series. The company noted that with the increase in the delivery time for the 2021 iPhone models, the demand has exceeded the supply by about 15%.

Like many other tech companies, Apple is suffering from a global chip shortage to make iPhones, and the estimated time to launch the iPhone 13 has been delayed by several weeks, with Apple apparently losing $ 6 billion due to chip shortages. However, it seems that Apple suppliers have managed to reduce the shortage of some parts and with the boom in production, they will be able to solve supply and demand problems.
