Salim Mouzanzadeh’s emphasis on the praisers was to learn “vocal lines”


According to Fars news agency, the latest session of the special program “Ayin Awaz” was held in Andisheh Cultural Center along with the commemoration ceremony of the late teacher Salim Mouzenzadeh Ardabili. In this ceremony, a group of students of this singing teacher were present.

At the beginning of this meeting, Vadod Mozenzadeh, the son of Ustad Mozenzadeh, said in a video message: My father had a very beautiful and catchy voice, and it may be said that we will not be able to hear such a voice again for centuries. One of the special features of his voice was that he could both display the lowest sounds and perform the lowest sounds. According to principles and rules, such a thing should not happen and a larynx can have one of these two states. In addition, his voice had a large volume and a wide range. He had strong writings that you must have seen.
He added: His performances had different dimensions and characteristics, and in my opinion, these characteristics were not well known during his lifetime. I think that these features should be analyzed and checked to be available to the next generations. During a two-hour performance, his voice never changed and he sang without tiring. He had a special sensitivity for the delivery of words in his performances, and for this reason, he was very obsessed with the selection of poetry. When you look at his performances, you will see that the words are pronounced accurately and correctly.
In the end, he said: One of the innovations of Master Salim Mouzanzadeh was that he started the performance with Arabic poems, then continued with Iranian row music and mainly sang a complete vocal instrument with its corners. Finally, it came to their mother tongue.
Daud Alizadeh, a musician, was the other speaker of this meeting. He said: Professor Mouzanzadeh was unique in describing the religious sufferings of Ahl al-Bayt. Sheikh Karim Mouzanzadeh, the father of this honorable family, has special characteristics. He is a faithful, committed, believer and one of Ardible’s confidants. This father has been so diligent in raising righteous and loving children of Ahl al-Bayt that each of them has special characteristics. It is said that Naeem Mouzenzadeh had a very beautiful voice, but he rejected Hayat in his youth. After him, there is Rahim Mouzanzadeh, whose sound is complex and eternal in all Alawite countries.
He added: Professor Salim Mouzenzadeh is a unique personality. As his son pointed out, he was the innovator and creator of a new style in Ardabil. Before him, all Navas were religious, but Master Mouzenzadeh presented a mixture of traditional and modern Navas, which was new in the society.
He never absented himself and never missed his first prayer
Alizadeh, referring to Salim Mouzanzadeh’s artistic characteristics, said: One of his characteristics was commitment and love for work. When he sang, it was really with love and passion and maybe that’s why the listeners never got bored when he performed. I was in his service for nearly half a century and I am proud to have been at his pulpit for many years. Professor Mouzenzadeh was good and after his death it became clear how much he used to arrest the poor. I think the most important moral characteristic of him was that he never absented himself in his life and never left the first prayer. Salim Mouzanzadeh had love for Ahl al-Bayt and served Imam Hossein for many years.
Radio and TV have been unfair in showing the works of Master Mouzenzadeh
Shahroz Habibi, a madah of Ahl al-Bayt and one of the students of Salim Mouzenzadeh Ardibili, said in the final part of the ceremony: The works of master Salim Mouzenzadeh Ardibili have brought blessing and unity in the world of Islam and Shiism. His voice had a divine miracle and his sincerity multiplied the effect of these works. Sedavasima is limited to only a few of Mr. Mouzenzadeh’s works, and I think it is unfair, because Mr. Mouzenzadeh has produced more than 500 influential and valuable works. I believe that “Zainab Zainab” work, which has become very popular, is one of the master’s average works, and besides that, he has other works that are really worth listening to. Professor Mouzenzadeh produced works for every occasion, and I think it is necessary to spread these works more than in the past. I think he is still oppressed.
He emphasized: We have singers who have a dang voice, but their names have been repeated so much that everyone knows them, but Master Mouzenzadeh with that voice and performance is still unknown. Each one of us has a duty to fulfill in this regard.
This praiser of Ahl al-Bayt, referring to Mouzanzadeh’s artistic features, said: One of his artistic features is the correct combination of poetry and music. They always emphasized on rowing, and they always said that reciters, chanters and singers should be familiar with rowing. If today we see some kind of disharmony in some performances, it is because they are unfamiliar with the vocal lines. When you pass by a congregation, you don’t know whether they are singing a birthday or a mourning ceremony. In fact, the melodies have become repetitive. This happened while Professor Mouzenzadeh was distinguishing between the two.
The melody of “Zeinab Zeinab” was removed from “Iran Iran” but he didn’t understand it either!
He ended his speech by quoting a memory and said: As you know, most of our songs are covers and we have weaknesses in this field. I remember that every song that we suggested them to put a piece on, they put a new dress on it. I remember that once in a conference I went to Mr. Reza Ruigiri and said to him: Professor Mouzenzadeh has performed one of your songs. “Which song?” he asked. I answered: Zainab Zainab’s song. He said: “I have heard it. Is it my song? I answered yes; It is taken from your song “Iran Iran”. Master Mouzenzadeh performed it in such a way that even the main singer did not understand it.
