Samsung uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass on the back panel and display of the S23 Ultra, and the S23 Plus is also equipped with the same feature. But despite having a flat screen and benefiting from the latest version of Gorilla Glass, S23 Plus did not perform very well in the test of resistance to falling from a height, and even in the first stage (falling from waist height) it faced cracks in its screen.

Although the device’s glass display cracked and cracked even in the first phase of its drop test, the cracks on this device are significantly smaller than those on the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s curved panel. However, in both cases, the touch screen of the devices still displays the content without problems and there is no problem with their touch input.

In other Samsung S23 series news, it was recently said that Samsung is likely to introduce the Galaxy S23 FE in late 2023. The affordable device from the tech giant’s Fan Edition family, which was not released last year due to a global chip shortage, is now apparently set to be available to enthusiasts once again.
