Samsung has begun removing ads from its proprietary apps


Samsung recently promised to stop showing ads on its default apps, including Music, Weather, and Themes. It is now said that ads have been removed from the three weather apps Pay and Health.

First the users of the Samsung Chat Forum they said Samsung Pay app ads have suddenly disappeared. A Samsung employee on the TizenHelp website later confirmed that Samsung had stopped showing ads on both Pay and Health apps as of October 1 (October 9).

Of course, Samsung has technically approved the change only for South Korea, but users in other countries, including the United States, have also announced the removal of ads. Until today, the Samsung Pay app used to show ads on the Pay tab, but these ads have now disappeared. Of course, Samsung still offers offers to users in a section called Featured on the Home tab, but these offers are not similar to previous ads.

The Samsung Health app has also been updated from the server and no longer has ads. Of course, users say that in order to receive this change, you must force the Health application or other of these programs and then open it again. The Weather app, or Samsung Weather, has also stopped showing ads and now at the top of the screen only displays the temperature and weather forecast for the coming days.

Finally, users say that the Galaxy Themes app has also been removed from ads, and from now on it will only provide themes to users.

Many Samsung fans have long criticized the existence of ads in the company’s applications. Following these reactions, Samsung announced that it listens to users’ voices and cares about their opinions. Now this plan has been implemented and apparently the company has stopped displaying advertisements in these applications.
